YOUR DETAILS, TREATED WITH RESPECT

Privacy &
data use.

Founder applications are private. There is no public member directory.

Before public recruitment begins

This is a draft data-use notice. The founding team must confirm the responsible organiser’s name, contact details, retention period and applicable data-protection arrangements before the site is publicly launched. Please do not provide confidential or sensitive background information.

What the form collects

Your name, email address, optional telephone number, Master Mason and UGLE registration declarations, your acknowledgement that you will provide current/former lodge details and Rule 175 certificates at a later stage, Province, optional football club, your proposed contribution, willingness to take Office, your virtual signature (drawn strokes or typed name) and the acknowledgements you make. We record a receipt reference, submission date, signature method/evidence digest and the exact pledge and documentation agreement accepted. We do not ask for current/former lodge names or numbers, certificate readiness, certificate uploads, date of birth, home address, financial details or a membership identification number.

The founding team will request your full current/former lodge history and Rule 175 certificates securely later, before inclusion in the formal petition. The acknowledgement is awareness and agreement to provide them, not proof that any details or documents have been supplied or checked. Earlier application records may contain lodge details voluntarily provided under the previous version of the form; those private records remain unchanged.

Why these details are used

To consider your founder application, discuss eligibility and availability, contact you about the proposed lodge and keep a record of the commitment you have given. An application is not admission to membership or appointment to Office.

Who can access them

Application details are stored in the site’s managed database. Organiser access requires authentication and an authorised administrator role. Authorised organisers can view and export applications for review, including full private CSV/JSON application backups and signature images. Exported copies must remain confidential and follow the agreed retention/data-protection arrangements. Applications are not displayed publicly or submitted to a marketing mailing list.

Your choices

Only provide the information requested for your application. Optional fields may be left blank. Tell the founding team if circumstances change or you wish to correct or withdraw your application; a direct contact route will be added once the organiser confirms it. Until then, please use your existing point of contact for the lodge proposal.

Cookies and local storage

The public application does not require an account. Essential authentication cookies and local browser storage are used for the organiser’s login. The form does not save your application details in browser storage. This site does not add advertising trackers or a marketing cookie banner.

Application records

Successful submissions are saved with the pledge and signature record. The submission receipt can be printed for your own records. No confirmation email is automatically sent by this site.
